Twitchamp

Polls opened today on Twitchamp.com allowing millions of #Twitter users to go head to head in a battle for ultimate popularity on the popular social messaging network. "Twitchamp lets Twitter users quickly type in their Twitter ID and that of a friend or foe," said Rick Robinson, founder of the site, "and the service reveals the winner as well as each user's 'Mojo' index calculation." Twitter Mojo is based on a calculation of factors including "followers," "number of updates" and "recent mentions" on Twitter. Twitchamp uses a proprietary equation to derive the Mojo number, which is listed next to each players name on the results page. After each competition a player can click a link and Tweet the results to their Twitter community, exposing the battle to broader the "Twitterverse," with embedded links back to the particular battle. - PRWeb
